What are you plans for this Bank Holiday |
Did you see that the Guardian ranked Bromley as one of the happiest places to live in the UK? Bustling shopping, plentiful green space and excellent transport links to the city and the coast are the resounding highlights. Notable that Chislehurst was mentioned in the property section.
And I think this is about right. In our location we have the best of many worlds. A short train ride and we’re in one of the heart of one of the most significant cities in the world. An hour on the train or in the car, and we’re at the beach. And right on our doorstep we have an abundance of nature and greenery. Let’s hope no one takes that away.

We definitely have a lot of green spaces
Talking of being in the city, many of use will take a train via London Bridge, or even get off there for work or pleasure. The recent upgrade to the station a few years ago and the current building development near station has certainly improved the area. Companies within the area can vote on whether to continue the Business Improvement District (BID) for another five years.

If you’re ever looking for a good evening dinner near Charring Cross, especially steak, you really should take a look at Smith & Wollensky. This is a wonderful restaurant and bar set over two floors, so even if you’re not here to eat, it’s also a great spot for a cocktail.

Smith & Wollensky is found just off the Strand
Smith & Wollensky is renowned for its USDA Prime, dry-aged steaks, fine wines, and classic cocktails, as well as daily delivered premium seafood.
There are many amazing items on the menu, but something I can personally recommend is the Hash Brown, which is served as the size of plate. So one to share, maybe.
It’s currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a £10,000 dining giveaway. For bookings of 12 or more, guests are advised to contact the restaurant directly.
