Bromley Welfare Fund Has Funding Cut

Bromley Council has voted to cut funding for the Bromley Welfare Fund—a lifeline that helps 400 low-income households each year with essential items like beds, cookers, and fridge freezers.

This fund supports families escaping domestic violence, elderly residents at risk of eviction, and people rebuilding after crises. Without it, many vulnerable neighbours will be left with nothing, forcing local charities to pick up the pieces—something they simply can’t do alone.

Chislehurst and West Kent Cricket Club Need Your Support

Chislehurst and West Kent Cricket Club are raising funds to save the pavilion, which dates back to 1899. The building desperately needs maintenance.

At the time of writing, their fundraising page shows they have raised £7,875, which is less than their target of £50,000. So, there is still some way to go. Please help if you can.
