A new venue opens on the High Street whilst two restaurants are nominated for local food award.

Fico Bianco will open on the High Street tomorrow. I managed to speak to the owner in the week and had a quick peek inside, which certainly looks very smart and welcoming.

There’s been some anticipation for this venue to open it’s doors so I’m sure many of us will be checking it out over the coming weeks and months.

No date yet for Brick Lane Bagel to open on the opposite side.

It’s also great to see that two Chislehurst venues have been nominated for the Good Food Guide Top 100 Local Restaurant Awards. Both the Imperial Arms and the Fish Union are in the mix for this prestigious award.

Summer is just around the corner, and with that kicks off the cricket season. Chislehurst and West Kent CC are inviting new players to come and join. They’re also still fundraising to save the pavilion.
