Hi Everyone, I hope it’s been a good week for you all. I’ve enjoyed seeing more and more Halloween decorations pop-up outside of homes, looking spooky and fun!
I tried out the café at the Caves at the weekend and enjoyed a fry-up - it was delicious…will definitely head back for more, but need to watch the waistline too, haha!
🍬🍬🍬It’s great to see that there are many Halloween activities happening across different venues, from the library to pubs to restaurants - are you planning to attend one of them? We normally get lots of trick or treaters, so we will be prepping for their arrival…tubs of sweets at the ready!🍬🍬🍬
Have you visited the Kyd Brook and trails over at Hawkwood Estate lately? It’s so good to see the cows wandering around, there’s even a calf at the moment, too! Hard to believe it’s Zone 5 London with this on the doorstep!

In Town This Week…
All the museums!!
🦖🦖🦖We took at trip to the museums this week, an easy tube ride from Charing Cross, via the District and Circle at Embankment! First he V&A (as there was an hour queue for the Natural History Museum?!) and we enjoyed the variety of artefacts on show, from tiny jewellery pieces to humungous pillars and pulpits!
Then, onto the dinos! As it was half term, it was sooo busy, but the dinos delivered, what a spectacle they are! We also wandered the earthquake zone with the moving floor simulator, and took the escalator through the Earth’s core - fantastic fun! 🦖🦖🦖

📖📖📖 I think it’s such a great idea that public spaces are populated with sharing libraries, like the one at Chislehurst train station. I took a photo of it this week, looking pretty good, but would be great if anyone had any spare books to top it up even more! Let’s get reading! 📖📖📖

🎭🎟️🎭 I was standing on the platform the other day and looking at the variety of world-class entertainment on our doorstep! Just a train ride away, we are so lucky….have you been to see anything great recently? I last saw The Comedy About Spies, it was so funny and brilliantly stage managed! 🎟️🎭🎟️
