As we head into the last month of Spring, it already looks like May is going to see lots of exciting events taking place in our neighbourhood. On Saturday, the May Queen Society host the 102nd crowning ceremony on the commons. Did you know The May Queen symbolises the renewal of nature and the arrival of spring, with her role being to preside over May Day festivities.

Thursday 8th, sees 75 years since the end of WWII in Europe, better known as VE day. There will be a number of events marking the event with Visit Chislehurst running a competition for the best decorated home. Maybe time to get the bunting out.

And carrying on with the car theme, last week, new coffee shop on Royal Parade, Melk, hosted the Drive Collective for Breakfast Club, which looked really fun.
