Weight loss: In an hour-long match, you can cover up to 5 miles and burn around 600 calories.
Longer life expectancy: A study published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings found that playing tennis was associated with a life-expectancy gain of nearly a decade.
Reduced all-cause mortality: A study involving roughly 80,000 people showed that racquet sports were correlated with a reduction in all-cause mortality.
