The summer holidays are coming to an end, which seems to be in line with a notable change in the weather this week. It’s literally been refreshing to get some rain this week, although we are still going to be considered in drought for a while yet. Perhaps as it is the last few weeks of summer, the car park at the station really has been quite empty most mornings as I’m sure many people are taking time off work.

These are not your weedy Tesco sandwiches, but huge doorsteps that are way more filling than you imagine. And should you find one sandwich isn’t quite enough, they also do a really good Scotch egg. If that all sounds a touch unhealthy, I hear they also do salads, but I’ve not looked at those!

Whilst London and its suburbs is a ginormous city, it can also be a hard place to make connections with people. To combat this, Grace Rose has set up a local group for those who want to get together and socialise.
